4 REQUIREMENTS
The illustrations shown herein are descriptive andnot restrictive,and are not intended to preclude themanufa cture of nutdrivers that are otherwise in accor-dance with this Standard .
4.1 Design
4.1.1 Type I Class 1: Conventional Length – SolidShaft. Type I, Class 1 nutdrivers shall consist of a roundsteel solid shaft with a socket at one end and a handleat the other end. The nutdrivers shall be similar to Fig. 1and conform to Table 1 or 1M for the size specified .Style A nutdrivers shall be provided with a conventio nalcolor-coded handle and/or’shaft. Style B nutdriversshall be provided with a cushion grip handle and neednot be color-coded .
4.1.2 Type I Class 2: Conventional Length — HollowShaft. Type 1, Class 2 nutdrivers shall consist of a roundsteel hollow shaft with a socket at one end and a handleat the other end. The nutdrivers shall be similar to Fig. 2and conform to Table 2 or 2M for the size specified .Style A nutdrivers shall be provided with a conventio nal
